My passion for art started when my favorite thing to “play” as a kid was “coloring contest”.

As I went through school, I was always enrolled in an art class, but painting was never my main focus. I ended up completing college with a Bachelors in Finance and a Masters in Elementary Education. I became a First Grade Teacher, and loved it. When I had my son, I decided to stay home, which led me to pick up my paint brush again and start Julia Lillian Art!

I would describe my style as coastal, delicate, and whimsical. Most of my inspiration comes from the Maine coast and from my son’s play.
